Dear Jack, Dreams and Wing’s Pilots and staff,

On behalf of The University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer
Center’Grief and Loss Program and Patient and Family Support
Services, we would like to thank you for bringing Dreams and Wings to
help remember and celebrate the lives of those lost to cancer. This
year’s event surpassed expectations of those attending with many
comments received as to their amazement of the days activities.
Following are just some of the comments:

• We had a good time (despite the reason), and my boys really enjoyed
the experience; I am glad we attended; the weather cooperated
beautifully; everyone was so nice; and our pilot (I think his name was
Ed) was great with Dane.

• Thanks… - the pictures are great; I forwarded them onto David's
mother; we really appreciate them. It was a great day and a great
remembrance.

• This was so helpful, I didn’t expect to feel this way.

• This day happens to be the 4th anniversary of our daughter’s
death…this is very meaningful to us.

Your generosity to those who attended that day and who had experienced
the loss of a loved one is something that will not be forgotten. Thank
you for giving up your Saturday to be there and for these individuals.
Every pilot provided a caring and kind hand that validated the feelings
of those in attendance. We have attached some pictures from the day.
Thank you for coming, we were honored to have you and the Dreams and
Wings pilots and staff at this event.

Sincerely,
